Hosted by the University of Cape Town Squash Club, the African Junior Squash Open is a PSA registered tournament that aims to bring top junior players from all over to the "Uni on the Mountain" for a weekend of squash.
Boys and Girls Sections for u11, u13, u15, u17 and u19 (All players must wear protective eye-wear on court). To be eligible for a section, a player must be younger than the set age on the last day of the tournament. E.g. to enter the u17 section, a player must be 16 or younger on 24 September 2023.
Since this is a PSA-registered event, the tins will be at 17 inches.
Round 1 starts on 22 September at 18h00
Monday 25 September is a Public Holiday
African Junior Open T-shirt is an optional extra at R300 per shirt.
Double Yellow Dot balls are used for all matches
By entering this tournament, you agree to be published in photos and digital media on UCT Squash's social media pages (i.e. Instagram and Facebook). If you do not wish to agree to this, this must be proclaimed in writing to the tournament organiser.
